Looking for Jesus according to Matthew

108) Looking for Jesus

Matthew 15:

  • Jesus explains that Pharisees and scribes put faith in man’s tradition and oppose Yah.weh’s word!
  • He calls them hypocrites!
  • He calls them blind guides!
  • Those who follow them will fall into the pit!
  • We must also be careful if we don’t want to fall into the pit!

109) Looking for Jesus

Matthew 16:

  • Jesus tells his disciples to be careful about the Pharisees and the Sadducees but they don’t understand because he uses the image of the leaven which can contaminate the whole flour!
  • But Jesus doesn’t lose his patience!
  • He keeps on teaching them!
  • Thus father and Son show the same patience regarding men!
  • And he explains to his disciples that he must die and suffer but they still don’t understand!
  • They will only understand after his death!
  • And it is the same with men!
