Galatians 3:10-12 King James Version (KJV)

10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

12 And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.

Galatians 3:10-12 Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)

10 For everyone who depends on legalistic observance of Torah commands lives under a curse, since it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not keep on doing everything written in the Scroll of the Torah.” 11 Now it is evident that no one comes to be declared righteous by God through legalism, since “The person who is righteous will attain life by trusting and being faithful.” 12 Furthermore, legalism is not based on trusting and being faithful, but on [a misuse of] the text that says, “Anyone who does these things will attain life through them.”c]'>[

10 We are to try to live according to the law because it is how God wants us to live. Christ in the Sermon on the Mount tells God’s true intent with the law which at the time man had corrupted this and made it something different. Not following the law sends people to hell, not following the law is sin, and we are all sinners.

11 The law finds all of us guilty it shows we are sinners without a hope of finding righteousness with in ourselves. We can never do things good enough to earn salvation because we have done things against the law. We all have violated God’s law.

12 We are made righteous by our faith, our faith in the Lord this makes us righteous even though we have broken the laws of God. We are not to live for the law but live for Christ by faith. Christ is our hope since we can not keep the law.

I repeat one key point you said that many do not get, "We are to try to live according to the law because it is how God wants us to live."

Try because none of can succeed.

You there are those who claim Complete Sanctification etc to elevate themselves to a state of being they do not possess.
