Ephesians 5:22-23
KJV 22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
YLT 22 The wives! to your own husbands subject yourselves, as to the Lord, 23 because the husband is head of the wife, as also the Christ is head of the assembly, and he is saviour of the body,
These are my thoughts, please share yours.
22 These is something difficult to be submissive to someone else, we all as Christians are to be submissive to God, here God wants women to be submissive to their husbands, this doesn’t mean they are not as important to God but it is a service to the Lord for them, husbands are not perfect so they sometimes have to follow wrong decisions, women are designed to be the man’s help, many women haven’t grasped what they need to be for the man but many men haven’t developed the leadership skills God wants them to have.
23 Husband is by God put over his wife, the husband is to love his wife as Jesus loves the church and while that may never be done it is the point to strive for. By treating a wife as Christ does the church men can be a good leader, one that she needs him to be for her.
