Civil War

I find it amazing that even though the Civil War ended 150 years ago we are still having a civil war...over the very same issue.

My problem with this activist approach at removing symbols of "hate" is that it sets a dangerous precedence that will be used in the future.
Who determines what is a "hate" symbol? And by who's standards of hate?

Removing the symbol is not going to remove the hate and using activism and law to restrict what is literally someone's thoughts and feelings and beliefs is dangerous precedent. Where would this end?

It would end when the Cross is seen as a symbol of "hate" and those that believe in it are dangerous and need to be reckoned with.

Hate has so many meanings now it is meaningless rhetoric.

Righteousness is not hateful conduct and speech. Sin is purity and godliness is perversion.
