Atheism Question

I’m not an atheist, but atheists are human beings with friends, family, relatives and acquaintances. They have feelings, needs, and responsibilities - just as everyone else does.

It is, from my perspective, a doomed voyage that they are on. How long is the voyage? 70 years? 80 years? 90 years? However long the time frame, they must live it. Do they simply endure it or do they enjoy it?

I think the answer to the question posed in the OP is that they feel they are making the best out of a bad situation.

Upon meeting an atheist I soon ask, What is your hope?

Then I speak about my hope as a believer in the one God and in the Messiah.
