XRose,

Are you a believer in a 6th day of the week crucifixion?
No.
My Bible says Jesus was crucified on the 4th day - what we call Thursday.
OK, just so you know that this topic applies only to someone who believes the crucifixion took place on the 6th day of the week with a 1st day of the week resurrection, and who thinks that the "heart of the earth" is referring to the tomb , and who tries to explain the lack of a 3rd night by saying that the Messiah was employing common figure of speech/colloquial language of the period.

BTW, not that it matters to this topic, but the 4th day of the week is Wednesday.

BTW, not that it matters to this topic, but the 5th day of the week in Jerusalem of Jesus's day is Thursday. My putting 4th was a typo.

The first day of the week is Sunday.

The Sabbath is Friday sundown to Saturday sundown.

Grasp this and Jesus's body's time in the tomb makes sense.

And again, that "someone new" needs to be someone who believes the crucifixion took place on the 6th day of the week with a 1st day of the week resurrection, and who thinks that the "heart of the earth" is referring to the tomb or at the earliest to when His spirit left His body, and who tries to explain the lack of a 3rd night by saying that the Messiah was employing common figure of speech/colloquial language of the period.
