One of the things I really appreciate about my Oxford RE looking back on it is the fact that England is smart enough to realize that if you're not a Christian, you're not even religious.

You meant: Even if you consider yourself religious your religion may be paganism if it is not Christian.
 
I think that we are all religious, because religion is a trust in someone or something outside of ourselves for truth and security. The outward evidence is that we often gather with other believers and express our beliefs then in worship.

However, it makes a huge difference in our lives who or what we worship and serve. Humanists worship good humanity and science. Islam worships Allah, who is one person. Hindus worship the universe, who they think is God in the form of many gods. Some Buddhists worship Budda, but most of them don't ask why they do good deeds.

Christians worship and serve the 3-in-1 God of the Bible. Why? During a historical event, he raised Jesus, the God-man, from the dead to permanent life. That's why I'm a Christian.
