Ephesians 2:8-10
KJV8For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:9Not of works, lest any man should boast.10For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.
8 We are saved by faith in Jesus by the grace of Him dying on the cross for us that is where grace was paid in full. The gift of God was for Him to die in our place, we had to sacrifice nothing to gain grace but He gave us everything by His love.
9 Many today of the world think that they can do something to earn God’s favor but if there were any other way then Jesus would not have had to die. We so much want to do something that causes us to be praised it is human nature but we are to not seek self praise but praise the Lord. We are to look for God’s rewards and not man’s.
10 We are His work everything we can do because of us coming to Him is a credit to Him and not us if He is in it then the praise goes to Him and things that He is not in we should not be doing. We would not be able to do good without Him so we should praise Him rather then seek self praise because of this. We did not change ourselves but He changed us so we could walk after Him, He knew the chances that would come our way to serve Him and we should give Him praise.
