Ephesians 2:19-22
KJV 19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God; 20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; 21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: 22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
WEB 19 So then you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God, 20being built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the chief cornerstone; 21 in whom the whole building, fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord; 22 in whom you also are built together for a habitation of God in the Spirit.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

19 We are strangers to this world what Paul is saying that we are no longer foreigners to the Promised Land to God’s blessings thru Christ we share His covenants given in the Old Testament to the Jewish people. We are not only holding to the blessings given here on earth but are going to be blessed with heavenly blessings that we can’t even imagine how good this will be the closet we can imagine is when we are filled with the Spirit and He goodness during times like worship but without our troubles and struggles in life causing that to go away.

20 The Apostles letters and them sharing the gospel and the four gospel accounts we have tell us the story of Christ. The prophets point to Christ as well as the Old Testament as where Psalms often times points to Christ. Faith in God was always built on the Word; Jesus was the Word in flesh so we know that by Jesus, the Word we are saved. Faith in Him saves us.

21 We all before coming to Christ have were being built in something unclean something of the flesh, when come to Christ we are sanctified for the service of the Lord and He builds us up so that we are holy for Him. We are still in the flesh and will want to please our flesh but as we grow us will overcome our flesh more and more and some things that we once fought will no longer be a struggle for us but flesh will always be our greatest fight to serving the Lord.

22 We as Christians are given the Holy Spirit which lets us know we are His, those without the Spirit may feel moved by the music and worship at church this is not the test the test that we have the Spirit is when we are faced with something difficult, He we be leading us to do right, the world does not have this they simply do what they want to have the Spirit often times means that we do what we don’t want to but we do because He is our Lord and we serve Him.

Agreed. We are hated more and more in this world.

Demons, Satan and evil people, of which there are many, hate God. They hate everything and everyone who belongs to him.
