Ephesians 1:13-14 King James Version (KJV)
13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

Ephesians 1:13-14 Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)

13 Furthermore, you who heard the message of the truth, the Good News offering you deliverance, and put your trust in the Messiah were sealed by him with the promised Ruach HaKodesh, 14 who guarantees our inheritance until we come into possession of it and thus bring him praise commensurate with his glory.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

13 We hear the gospel the question is what do we do when we hear it do we follow Him or do we just live the way we want as if we did not hear the Truth. When we receive the gospel into our hearts we are sealed by the Spirit, we are made able to follow in the Truth by the Spirit keeping us in His way; we can not walk the right with God without having the Spirit.

14 The Spirit shows us that we will inherit what He has for us and shows we are redeemed, this is one of the many reasons to give God praise.
