Some say salvation is by grace alone. Others say by works. Then some say by grace that allows the works of salvation.

What say you?

grace alone.
If that was not enough nothing is. good works come out of salvation.
not the other way around. no earning it here.
boggles the mind to think folks can think they can earn it from a Holy God.
best to accept the gift!

I believe the Bible is clear on it , that salvation is by faith alone , but if there are no works after then your most likely not saved. They go hand in hand. You are saved by grace and then the Lord ordained good works for you , so the works you do are of the Lord. If you only have works then they are filthy rags to the Lord, and do nothing for salvation.

It is by grace alone but grace is shown to everyone else by works that come out of faith, such things as reading the bible, talking about God and the bible, gaining the fruit of the Spirit.

I think Ephesians 2:8 is pretty clear on the subject:

"For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God."

'Not of yourselves' doesn't leave much room for works. Unless of course you're prepared to perform amazing gymnastics on the text.
