Romans 14:1-4
King James Version (KJV)
14 Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.
2 For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.
3 Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.
4 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.

Romans 14:1-4
Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)
14 Now as for a person whose trust is weak, welcome him — but not to get into arguments over opinions. 2 One person has the trust that will allow him to eat anything, while another whose trust is weak eats only vegetables. 3 The one who eats anything must not look down on the one who abstains; and the abstainer must not pass judgment on the one who eats anything, because God has accepted him — 4 who are you to pass judgment on someone else’s servant? It is before his own master that he will stand or fall; and the fact is that he will stand, because the Lord is able to make him stand.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

1 There is those of faith who is weaker than us who has not grown as much as we have yet we should aid their growth and not become a hindrance to their growth. We should not look down on them because of them being weaker this is the normal reaction but should not be how we react. We are not to judge anyone. He is the judge; we are just His messagers that are to share His word. We should be saying God’s word says to show them there errors and if we are willing to show them their errors we need to be willing to help them change, if they are willing.

2 Eating vegetables were done because animals had blood which unless drained properly was unclean so the weaker ones are the ones still holding to the law. We how are mature in the faith know Christ fulfilled the law and when we trust in Him we are made clean. Certain Jews because of blood being unclean chose to only eat vegetables so that they would not consume anything unclean.

3 We should get along with those who choose to follow the law that is of the faith. There are those who do certain things that are not required we should get along with them if they are doing these things we should show support to them and love them. God has received all those who came to Him even if they live by certain laws.

4 We should not judge each other with us being God’s servants; He will deal with us, now He could use us to talk to them but unless He leads us that way we should not act. God often uses people to spread His message. We can not stand on our own but we can stand by God carrying us.
