Here is what continued marriage redefinition without representation will look like in the very near future:

Legalized polygamy:

These are not just extreme talking points we bring to the table when we discuss why we should be supporting and protecting traditionally held marriage laws. This is going to be the new world order we live in if our elected officials and judges continue to dictate what marriage is going to be without engaging the American people that they are sworn to represent. We are being denied our rights as citizens to participate in a proper public referendum to make such cultural decisions.
One man should not be determining the fate of how this nation or any state is supposed to recognize what marriage is. It’s a blatant abuse of executive power and of the legal system and it is discriminatory for those who are opposed to changing it.
It is discriminatory to anyone opposed to redefinition since now by law thru judicial fiats we are required to support redefinition which completely disregards our rights as Americans to believe as we choose to believe and to make appropriate moral decisions based on our own personal faiths.
In the past Americans have in good faith in their own states voted on what they wanted marriage to represent. That has somehow been stripped away from us all by one man. That should worry every single American.
This is an abuse of power, its discriminatory, and it violates our rights as Americans.
