No Recent Images of Antarctica

Open Google Earth and go to Antarctica. The images are from 1998. … and even then there are signs of chlorophyll leaching onto the ice from exposed ground.

There are no more recent images available to the public, so what is going on?

They say the ice has melted and the surface underneath has been exposed, so where are the images?

I don't doubt the ice has melted quite a bit and I'll bet you something is going on that we can't know about.

Either an exploitation of what has been uncovered in terms of minerals, fossils, ancient cities..?? Who knows.

I only know that if you can't find photos of it in this day and age then somebody doesn't want you to see it …

:hmm:

Thank-you … I learned something … maybe wishful thinking on my part.

I've always wondered what was going on there before the last ice age.
