History of the Jews and God
(Deu 7:6 KJV) For thou art a holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.

(Deu 7:7 KJV) The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:

God’s instruction to the Jews

(Deu 1:16 KJV) And I charged your judges at that time, saying, Hear the causes between your brethren, and judge righteously between every man and his brother, and the stranger that is with him.

(Deu 24:20 KJV) When thou beatest thine olive tree, thou shalt not go over the boughs again: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow.

(Deu 24:21 KJV) When thou gatherest the grapes of thy vineyard, thou shalt not glean it afterward: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow

(Exo 22:21 KJV) Thou shalt neither vex a stranger, nor oppress him: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.

(Exo 23:9 KJV) Also thou shalt not oppress a stranger: for ye know the heart of a stranger, seeing ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.
(Lev 19:34 KJV) But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.

In 1947ad the Jews declared their own Nation and called it “Israel”

Snipers ordered to shoot children, Israeli general confirms
Ali Abunimah Rights and Accountability 22 April 2018
An Israeli general has confirmed that when snipers stationed along Israel’s boundary with Gaza shoot at children, they are doing so deliberately, under clear and specific orders.
In a radio interview, Brigadier-General (Reserve) Zvika Fogel describes how a sniper identifies the “small body” of a child and is given authorization to shoot.

IDF shoots handcuffed, blindfolded Palestinian suspect during escape attempt
Israel Defense Forces soldiers last week shot and seriously injured a blindfolded and handcuffed Palestinian teen as he tried to escape arrest in the central West Bank.
Reports in Palestinian media said 16-year-old Osama al-Badn was detained during clashes with Israeli security forces in the town of Tuqu, outside the settlement of Tekoa, just south of Bethlehem, on Thursday.
The military said he was throwing rocks at troops and Israeli civilians nearby.
Badn said Monday that he was walking home from a funeral in the village when he was grabbed. He said soldiers bound him and shouted at him in Hebrew and Arabic. He was “confused” and started walking away when he was shot.

Israeli officer: I was right to shoot 13-year-old child
An Israeli army officer who repeatedly shot a 13-year-old Palestinian girl in Gaza dismissed a warning from another soldier that she was a child by saying he would have killed her even if she was three years old.
The officer, identified by the army only as Captain R, was charged this week with illegal use of his weapon, conduct unbecoming an officer and other relatively minor infractions after emptying all 10 bullets from his gun's magazine into Iman al-Hams when she walked into a "security area" on the edge of Rafah refugee camp last month.
A tape recording of radio exchanges between soldiers involved in the incident, played on Israeli television, contradicts the army's account of the events and appears to show that the captain shot the girl in cold blood.

God chose them. Instructed them and what did God get in return.
You tell me, does God still look upon his chosen with warm and loving thoughts?

What are you getting at?

That the Jews are so apostate in rejecting the Messiah they have turned their backs on God just as the Bible has shown throughout history and as predicted they would do? This is nothing new.

Or that you are actively trying to promote Antisemitism?

Which is it?

God chose them
They rejected His teaching
God stated that they would no longer be remembered unless they repent.

I can't understand why you're so interested in whether or not a bunch of Palestinians die. If you were a real Bible believer, you would consider Canaan/Judea the possession of the Jews/Hebrews/Israel ALONE, and if you were loyal to the United States you would honor our international treaties recognizing Israel as a separate nation, but not Palestine. Now obviously, Simon the Zealot or Simon Magus as he is known is a villain in Biblical Studies, and I can see where Zionism would be a problem. It's political, and politics makes strange bedfellows. But your worry is for a bunch of Philistines who God ordered exterminated during the Bronze Age? Now textually speaking, that just very simply makes no logical sense to me. Can I see some actual Bible texts on the topic, or are you just in secular Israeli state history here?

Jesus is a Jew. It’s the history of this Jew and God that primarily occupies my mind. Jesus is the ideal Jew.

I would, however, agree that we both can and should learn from both positive and negative Jewish experiences with God.
