Galatians 4:30-31King James Version (KJV)
30 Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.
31 So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.
30 He is phrasing it this way to have the church focus on the scriptures. This was what Sarah told Abraham to do it was hard for to do because the child was his but after hearing the word from the Lord Abraham did this. It was not God’s will for the slaves son to inherit from Abraham but it was the promised child to inherit, we as Christians receive promise from the Son and thru Him we are no longer slaves to sin but children of promise thru Christ.
31 We are not to be slaves to the law Christ died so thru Him we could be free. We could not keep the law so He did to make us free.
