Galatians 3:21-22 King James Version (KJV)
21 Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law.

22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

21 Does this mean that the legal part of theTorahstands in opposition to God’s promises? Heaven forbid! For if the legal part of theTorahwhich God gave had had in itself the power to give life, then righteousness really would have come by legalistically following such aTorah.22 But instead, theTanakhshuts up everything under sin; so that what had been promised might be given, on the basis of Yeshua the Messiah’s trusting faithfulness, to those who continue to be trustingly faithful.

21 The law is not against the promise of God but points to the promise of God in Christ, we can not keep the law but He did. If we could keep the law we could have righteousness but we are unable to do that so He did it for us. The law was given so we can see our fault and go to the promise of God in Jesus our Savior.

22 We are all held accountable by the law but thru Christ we bear our account because we go to Him by faith. We believe and He saves us from the destruction that comes from our own sins.
