Ephesians 6:4
KJV 4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
YLT 4 And the fathers! provoke not your children, but nourish them in the instruction and admonition of the Lord.
These are my thoughts, please share yours.
This verse says father not because mothers aren’t to apart of this process but because men are the spiritual leaders of the family, they should be leading both their wife and all their children, if the man does right by the child then it makes it easier for the husband. Fathers should just to try to upset their children but have a reason for what they do, they should do so that the child grows rather then just do to show control. Fathers greatest role is to show their children Jesus but far to many times the child sees Jesus thru someone else today instead of their father.
