Ephesians 5:7-10
KJV 7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them. 8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: 9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) 10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
YLT 7 become not, then, partakers with them, 8 for ye were once darkness, and now light in the Lord; as children of light walk ye, 9 for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, and righteousness, and truth, 10proving what is well-pleasing to the Lord,
These are my thoughts, please share yours.
7 We should not live as the world, we should fellowship more with Christ then the world, we should be light to the world but are not to fellowship with them the way they do. We are not to let them hide our light but let our light shine among them.
8 We are now to walk after Him, we should be able to see clearly what sin is now and should strive to live in holiness rather then sin, this only can be done by following Jesus.
9 He is the truth, the word and Jesus is truth. Today this world questions what truth is but there is one truth and it was given to us by the Spirit.
10 We are to live for what pleases the Lord. We are sinful but thru Jesus our sins are forgiven to where we can still be used.
