Ephesians 5:29-31
KJV 29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: 30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
YLT 29 for no one ever his own flesh did hate, but doth nourish and cherish it, as also the Lord—the assembly, 30 because members we are of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones; 31 `for this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined to his wife, and they shall be—the two—for one flesh;'

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

29 We don’t truly hate our own body but we are do hateful our sinful selves. Jesus loves us even more as we could ever love ourselves because He sees us without our flesh, He sees us as changed forever, even though we as Christians keep seeing areas in life where we need to change.

30 We are to body of Christ, we are to continue the work He started and let people know about the work He finished on the cross.

31 Husband and wife are to become as one person, in such union, this doesn’t mean they will agree with everything the other does or says, it does not mean their wont be fights but it does mean no matter what they are there for one another, when they argue is upset they are the one person they still can count on. Marriage I a very special blessing that God gives, not everyone is meant for it or wait for who God wants to bless them with though.
