1 John 5:7-8
KJV 7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. 8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.
YLT 7 because three are who are testifying in the heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit, and these—the three—are one; 8 and three are who are testifying in the earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood, and the three are into the one.
These are my thoughts, please share yours.
7 This is the trinity the Godhead, Jesus is the Word. This is vital teaching of the gospel because it accepts one God but accepts that Jesus is God. This teaching is often explained so much that it becomes confusing. Jesus is God is the main point and anyone who rejects this rejects God.
8 It is comparing as we are one person is parts so is God one being in three parts.
